Williston Welcomes First Baby Of 2023
2023 is just a few days old, and we are still seeing new each and every day! For as long as I can remember, the new year has been symbolized by a baby. Where did this come from? In editorial cartoons, the beginning of the New Year is frequently represented as the Baby New Year. The baby represents a "rebirth," or the "birth" of the following year and the "passing" of the one before it. The function of Baby New Year varies from story to myth, although it typically carries out some kind of ceremonial role throughout his year, such as recording the year's events or preside over the year as a symbol.
Williston welcomed it's first birth of the new year on the first day of 2023! The parents of Charlotte Elizabeth Goga, Gabi Wigness and James Goga of Crosby, welcomed her into the world at 9:49 a.m. on January 1. CHI St. Alexius Hospital of Williston gave the family a gift basket full of newborn necessities after announcing the baby as Williston's first child of 2023. The proud couple's first child is named Charlotte, and despite the labor being longer than they had hoped, they said they are thrilled to be parents. Remember, this is the first recorded birth for the year in Williston, but they're certainly celebrating in Crosby too!
Welcome to the world little Charlotte, and congratulations from all of us here at Townsquare Media - Williston!
