The Williston Fire Department has announced the appointment of Jessica Gillies as Assistant Chief of Operations, elevating a longtime member of the department into a key executive leadership role.
Gillies brings nearly a decade of service with the department, with experience spanning both fire suppression and emergency medical services. In her new role, she will oversee day-to-day response operations and help ensure continued operational readiness.

Gillies said she is honored to take on the role.
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Chief of Operations for the Williston Fire Department. I’ve been fortunate to grow alongside this department for the past ten years, and I am proud to continue serving this community alongside the hardworking people that make this department what it is,” she said. “I’m excited to continue to keep building on the strong foundation we have, support our people, and continuing to provide the highest level of care to the people of Williston.”
