A unique trip back in time comes up on Wednesday, September 28.  A Monuments Reveal is being organized by the Williston State College Foundation and Williston State College. The event starts at 5:30pm, and it kicks off at the first monument on campus called Clark's Table. This is the gazebo on the north end of the college's main building, and it houses some very special pieces.

What does each piece represent? You have to come find out!

Each piece is truly amazing, and the attention to every detail is well done.

Another featured monument is the one of Sitting Bull. Every detail on the feather, gun and particularly his face makes you feel like you could actually have a conversation with Sitting Bull himself.

The monuments placed throughout the campus of WSC provide some historical context for the area, Western North Dakota, and Eastern Montana according to Terry Olson,  former WSC coach and executive director of the Foundation. Olson went on to say "discussions with faculty, employees, Dave Njos, and the general public made it evident that something like this would truly dress up our campus." Olson also said, "with the help of generous donors and the WSC Foundation, this project became a reality."

The other pieces are just as extraordinary. Be sure to check out the driller, the airman, and the pioneers on the upcoming tour.

There is another monument set to be delivered on Monday, September 26. What will it represent? Farming, ranching, sports? Keep an eye on this piece of granite, and be ready for another unique bronze piece to take its place at Williston State College. Remember, the Monuments Reveal is on Wednesday, September 28. Wear comfy shoes, and be prepared for fall weather in North Dakota. Golf carts will be provided for those who may require further mobile assistance. In case of inclement weather, the Monument Reveal and tour will be rescheduled at a later date.
