Guide to North Dakota’s June 11th Primary Election in Williams County
Williams County voters, mark your calendars! The June 11th Primary Election is just around the corner. This year, any qualified elector from Williams County can cast their vote at one of two convenient Vote Centers or at a Consolidated Precinct Polling Location based on their primary residence address. Here’s everything you need to know to ensure your vote counts.
Voting Locations and Times
The polls will be open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Time on June 11th. You have several options for where to vote:
Vote Centers:
- Williston ARC
- Upper Missouri Valley Fair Grounds Multipurpose Building
Consolidated Precinct Polling Locations:
- Grenora City Hall (Serving Precincts 12, 54, and 67)
- Ray City Hall (Serving Precincts 54, 62, 63, and 66)
- Tioga Community Center (Serving Precincts 54 and 64)
- Wildrose City/Fire Hall (Serving Precincts 54, 65, and 68)
Absentee Voting
If you prefer to vote absentee, you can obtain an absentee ballot from the Williams County Auditor's Office. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and absentee ballots are available until June 10th. The Auditor’s Office is also mailing out ballots to those who have already applied.
Steps to Vote Absentee:
- Pick up an absentee ballot in person at the Auditor's Office.
- If you haven't applied for an absentee ballot yet, there's still time! You can complete your application online at the Williams County Elections website.
Voter Requirements
To participate in the election, make sure you meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be at least 18 years old on Election Day
- Have a valid North Dakota ID, tribal ID, or a 2024 Long-Term Care Certificate (from a qualified nursing home)
- Be a resident of Williams County, North Dakota
