The Williston Police Department has released its weekly activity report for November 2–8, 2025, giving residents an inside look at how busy local law enforcement has been keeping the community safe.

Williston North Dakota Officers Respond to 622 Calls in a Busy Week of Community Service
During the week, officers responded to 622 calls for service, handling everything from disturbances and welfare checks to traffic incidents and criminal investigations. That number reflects the steady workload local officers manage week after week in one of western North Dakota’s fastest-growing communities.
Another Busy Week Involving Arrests
A total of 35 arrests were made throughout the week. Of those, 14 were felony arrests and 19 were misdemeanors. Officers also reported two infractions, demonstrating the department’s ongoing focus on addressing both serious and minor offenses to maintain community order.
Traffic Enforcement and Winter Safety Take Center Stage
Traffic safety remained a major area of activity. Officers conducted 130 traffic stops, issuing 61 citations and 11 written warnings. The Williston PD continues to emphasize that traffic enforcement is not just about tickets—it’s about preventing accidents and saving lives on local roads.
Speaking of accidents, officers responded to 17 traffic crashes over the week. Fortunately, 16 of those were non-injury accidents, with only one resulting in injury. Even so, police urge drivers to remain cautious as winter weather conditions begin to settle in across the region.

In total, officers filed 111 reports documenting their investigations and enforcement actions.
