Williston Man Injured in Rear-End Collision on Highway 2

Williston, ND (KEYZ) A 42-year-old Williston man sustains minor injuries Monday, June 27 after being rear-ended on Highway 2 west of Ray.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that a Ram pickup driven by 23-year-old Beau Hyatt of Bainville, Montana struck the rear end of a John Deere tractor being operated by 42-year-old Patrick Evanson of Williston around 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.  Both vehicles were traveling westbound on Highway 2, nine miles west of Ray.

After impact, the John Deere tractor overturned onto its side. The Ram pickup came to rest in the left lane facing in a NE direction. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported by ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
