Williston Is Ready For Halloween
Don't have much planned for Halloween? There is lots to do to add to your spook and candy levels! Many people and organizations have worked hard to make Halloween fun for everyone.
Haunted House
As of this post, you still have time to get in on the spooky part of Halloween! Head on out to Dark Acres Haunted House on October 28 or October 29. It costs $20.00, and you will leave freaked. Do you want a balloon too, Georgie? Pennywise will make sure you're taken care of! It is for those 12 and older, and is located just a 1/4 miles west Love's Truck Stop.
All City Halloween Loop
If scary is not your thing, check out the All City Halloween Loop on Saturday, October 29 at Spring Lake Park in Williston. The Williston Police Association, along with Williston Parks and Recreation District, and Williston Community Builders are excited to host the All City Halloween Loop! You don't even need to get out of your vehicle! Admission is FREE, with suggested non-perishable food items for local food shelters. Feel free to dress in costumes and bring your candy buckets!
Craft & Vendor Show
There is a huge craft and vendor show planned for Saturday, October 29 at the Raymond Center in Williston. It's called the Hocus Pocus Vendor & Craft Show. There will be booths set up for trick or treaters, kids activities, spooky photos, shopping and fun! There is no admittance fee for this event which runs from 11:00am to 5:00pm
Candy
The Williston Downtowners Association invites one and all to Main Street for Trail Of Treats on October 31! At last count, there are close to 50 area businesses that plan to be set up on Main Street handing out treats to all the ghosts and goblins. The fun starts at 3:00pm. This is a great place to start before going to all the houses ready to get in on the halloween fun.
Williston State College (MORE CANDY)
Williston State College is getting in on the Halloween fun too on October 31! This is the 6th year that WSC has offered this family-friendly event. It's free and open to the public from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. This year’s event is sponsored in part by ERES Companies. WSC will host several spooky stops for children and their families to play games, watch a movie, and receive candy or prizes from WSC employees, clubs, and departments. All stops are in Stevens Hall and the Well. Participants can start anywhere on the Trail and at any time between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Will all that is listed here, Williston is definitely ready for Halloween!
