STAR Fund Grant For New Meg-A-Latte Distribution Center
The Williston STAR Fund will contribute up to $57,500 to the project through the Flex PACE Interest Buydown program.
This grant will cover costs for the purchase, insulation, windows, office buildout, electrical work, plumbing, landscaping, and garage doors.
The distribution center will enable Meg-A-Latte to wholesale their products to their coffee shops and other businesses. Meg-A-Latte has locations in Williston, Watford City, Minot, Grand Forks, and Bismarck.
"We are grateful for the support of the Economic Development STAR Fund in assisting with the funding of our expansions," said Meg Wold, owner of Meg-A-Latte Coffee House. "We look forward to utilizing the warehouse space for our inventory and exploring the possibility of distributing our goods!"
Keith Olson, director of the Small Business Development Center in Williston, mentioned that the project will be located in downtown Williston, with Wold purchasing the former Conlin’s Furniture warehouse at 628 1st Street East.
"It is so much fun to have a business you have worked with come back with great new opportunities for growth, and we have these awesome programs that can help them do that," said Olson.
