Celebrating Student Success At Williston State College This Spring
Williston State College has recognized members of it's student body for their academic achievements during the Spring 2026 semester, naming 125 students to the President’s List and 97 students to the Dean’s List.
The honors highlight students’ dedication, perseverance and academic success throughout the semester. To qualify for the President’s List, students must complete at least 12 college-level credits and earn a grade point average between 3.80 and 4.00. Dean’s List students must also complete at least 12 credits and achieve a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79.
“These students have demonstrated an incredible commitment to their education and personal growth,” said Dr. Bernell Hirning, president of Williston State College. “Achieving recognition on the President’s or Dean’s List reflects the discipline, determination, and work ethic that help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. We are proud of their accomplishments and excited to celebrate their success.”
Williston State College serves a diverse student population, including recent high school graduates, dual-credit students, adult learners and student-athletes. The college continues to emphasize accessible, high-quality education while supporting student achievement and long-term success.
