Williston Swears In Mayor Swint And Two New Commissioners
New leadership and committee assignments were finalized during the first City Commission meeting under Mayor Cory Swint, who was sworn in alongside new commissioners Matt Clark and Heidi Johnson.
Also assigned to the new commissioners was their portfolio of departments, which will be under their purview as members of the Williston City Commission.
A city commissioner's portfolio is a specific department or functional area of local government that the commissioner oversees and manages. Just like a member of a corporate board has a specific job, commissioners are assigned these roles to ensure all city services run smoothly.

- Planning and Zoning

- Cemetery Advisory Board
