A 55-Degree Swing? North Dakota’s February Warm-Up Feels Like a Miracle!

That’s not just a little warm-up—that’s a 55-degree swing from what we’ve been suffering through! In the middle of February! That’s the kind of temperature change that makes you want to dig out the grill, throw on some shorts, and convince yourself that 40 degrees is indeed "t-shirt weather."

Now, before we get too carried away, let’s all knock on wood, cross our fingers, and maybe even do a little sun dance—because we all know how unpredictable weather can be around here. One minute, we’re basking in an early taste of spring, and the next, a rogue blizzard decides to crash the party.

But for now, let’s enjoy the hope of warmer days ahead. Maybe take a walk without three layers of clothing, give your car a break from the endless cycle of warming up, and just soak in the possibility of not shivering.

So here’s to the warm-up—may it last long enough for us to remember what sunshine feels like!
