Bash in Grenora North Dakota: Small Town, Big Fun This Saturday!

The weekend is almost here, and if you’re staring at your calendar wondering what to do, let me help you out. As a proud graduate of Grenora High School (Go Gophers!), I’ve got just the thing: the annual Grenora Bash! This little town knows how to throw a big party, and trust me, you won’t want to miss it.

Breakfast Is Served

Things kick off bright and early on Saturday with a Free Will Breakfast from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m., hosted by the Grenora American Legion. It’s the perfect chance to fuel up for the day’s activities with fluffy pancakes, sizzling bacon, and good coffee always taste better when they’re shared with neighbors.

Up Fore Some Golf

Feeling sporty? Tee off at the Golf Scramble at the local course just half a mile east of town. Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m., so you’ll have time to swing by after breakfast.

Free Feed Starts At Noon

If golf’s not your thing, don’t worry, you can graze your way through the day instead! From noon to 2:00 p.m., enjoy a Free Will Lunch at the Community Center, thanks to Dakota West Credit Union.

Show & Shine Always A Hit

After you’re fed and happy, head to Main Street for the Shine & Show Car Show at 2:00 p.m. Classic cars, shiny chrome, and engines that purr...it’s a motorhead’s dream. Cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award before voting closes at 6:00 p.m.

Wanna Get Dirty

If you’re more of a “get dirty” type, grab some friends and sign up for Mud Volleyball between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. It’s $25 a team, and all ages are welcome! Just bring a sense of humor and a change of clothes!

Cornhole Anyone?

Then, test your tossing skills at the Cornhole Tournament at 5:00 p.m. Registration starts at 4:00 p.m., and it’s only $10 to play.

Bring The Kids For Lazer Tag

Need a break from the competition? There’s Laser Tag from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.. It's just $5 for a wristband and unlimited games.

Grab Extra Napkins

And don’t even think about leaving before you’ve tasted the star of the show: the Rib Tasting at 6:00 p.m.! For $25, you’ll get five ribs of your choice and two sides. If that doesn’t get your mouth watering, nothing will.

Bingo Fun For Everyone

After a round of Bingo from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and the big 50/50 Raffle Drawing at 9:00 p.m., it’s time to dance the night away.

Get Your Groove On At The Street Dance

The Street Dance on Main Street, featuring Diamond J Entertainment, will keep your toes tapping way past when the stars come out.
