Montana centenarians will be honored during the 57th annual Governor’s Conference on Aging, scheduled for Oct. 7, 2026, according to the Department of Public Health and Human Services.

The recognition is planned to take place during a noon luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell. Montanans who will turn 100 on or before Dec. 31, 2026, as well as those who are older than 100, are being asked to submit their name and a brief profile for inclusion.

All centenarians who submit information are expected to receive a recognition certificate from Gov. Greg Gianforte, and their stories will be included in a centenarian booklet prepared for the event. Submissions must be received by Sept. 1, 2026, to be included in the booklet.

Forms are available online and can be completed by centenarians or submitted by friends and family members. Participation in the luncheon is also being coordinated through the submission process.

The Governor’s Conference on Aging has been held annually since 1968 and is intended to provide information and education to older adults, service providers, caregivers and families. Topics related to aging and disability issues are typically addressed during the event.
