Grassfire Reported South of Medicine Lake, Montana

A wildfire has broken out just south of Medicine Lake, in Sheridan County, Montana.

As first reported by KXNews, firefighters are actively responding to the grassfire that started approximately 16 miles west of the North Dakota state line but have no containment at the time of reporting.

The wind is posing a challenge for firefighters, with KXWeather reporting the area seeing winds of 22 mph with gusts up to 27 mph.
