Women In Agriculture Unite: Annie’s Project Comes To Williston ND
Annie's Project, a six-week discussion-based workshop, is set to empower women in agriculture by providing them with invaluable knowledge and skills. This program brings together women interested in agri-business, whether they have a lifelong connection to farming or are just beginning their journey. Led by experts in production, financial management, human resources, marketing, and the legal field, Annie's Project aims to equip farm women with the tools they need to excel in their roles as business partners in agriculture.
Program Highlights
The program will cover a wide range of critical topics, including budgeting basics, crop insurance, farm finance, accounting, taxes, and various agency programs. Participants will delve into subjects such as range, forage, and pasture insurance, crop marketing, farm stress management, estate planning, wills and trusts, livestock marketing, and farm safety.
Annie's Project encourages active participation, inviting attendees to share their perspectives and approaches to foster a collaborative learning environment. The program's primary goal is to create a supportive network where women facing similar challenges can connect and learn together.
Preregistration and Details
To ensure a conducive learning atmosphere, preregistration is required, with a limit of 15 participants. The cost for the entire program is $150, payable to NDSU Extension Williams County. Meals will be provided for each session. The first session is on October 16, so get your registration in ASAP.
