The Williston Parks and Recreation Department sent out a press release today, July 10th, on what will be the hottest day of the summer, saying that the Splashpad will be unable to open due to vandalism.

As the WPRD staff continues to work towards addressing vandalism in Williston parks, the amount of vandalism is becoming an uphill battle for park staff, as is the amount of money it takes to replace damaged and destroyed items throughout Williston's parks.

Officials with the WPRD will be in the KEYZ studio to discuss the vandalism issues at a greater length during a live interview with Scott Haugen on Thursday, July 10th.

You can listen to the interview tomorrow morning starting at 8:05 a.m. on 660 AM, KEYZRadio.com, and the KEYZ Radio app, which is available on Google and iOS.

We will also have another article about the vandalism with more detail from WPRD officials tomorrow right here on Keyzradio.com
