Williston Fire Department Responds To HVAC Issue At Trinity Clinic
The Williston Fire Department responded to a reported commercial structure fire at the Trinity Clinic on West Dakota Parkway at 1:15 PM.
The Williams County Dispatch Center had received a call confirming smoke on the clinic's second story, prompting the activation of a 1st Alarm response.
This included two fire engines, a ladder truck, command staff, and paid-on-call personnel. Williston Police were dispatched for traffic control, and emergency management was alerted for support.
The first crew arrived at 1:21 PM, confirmed smoke, and assisted with evacuations while investigating the source.
The smoke was traced to a malfunctioning HVAC component, which the firefighters isolated and ventilated. No injuries were reported.
In total, 25 firefighters responded, including units from Engine 1, Engine 3, Truck 2, and Medic 1.
The scene was cleared by 2:50 PM, and services at the clinic resumed following repairs. The incident was deemed accidental due to the HVAC malfunction.
