Previous reporting from KEYZ News Radio on the disappearance of Katelynn Berry.

"We love her, and we really just want to find her and get her home," says father of missing Sidney, Montana woman Katelynn Berry

Hank Berry, the father of 26-year-old Katelynn Berry missing from her home in Sidney, Montana since before Christmas, is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to finding his daughter.

In an interview with News Radio on Monday, January 3, 2022, Berry took the opportunity to reach out to his daughter over the airwaves in the hope that she would find a way to call him saying "We love her, and we really just want to find her and get her home." Katelynn Berry does not have a car, and police have confirmed that her cell phone and other personal belongings were left behind at her residence.

Katelynn Berry is known to have frequented the Town Pump convenience store, a truck stop within walking distance from her home. Police have conducted searches in ditches along the walking route between Berry's home and the store as well as using drones and planes to search from the air.

Whether Berry made a trek to the store or not, the red flag for Hank Berry went up on December 23 when text messages were not returned and a package he'd left on his daughter's doorstep early that day was still there by mid-afternoon. At this juncture, Berry feels his daughter may be with someone.

"Either someone picked her up, she was already with someone . . . they had somebody come and get her . . . maybe that person had a vehicle."

As for leads coming in to law enforcement, Berry tells News Radio "they have some follow-up people they want to take a look at," and officials are also working to crack open his daughter's cell phone to investigate the nature of text messages prior to Katelynn Berry's disappearance.

Hank Berry commended law enforcement for following up on "a lot of leads" and doing "such a wonderful job."

Katelynn Berry is also the daughter of Grand Forks County Assistant State's Attorney Carmell Mattison.
