The recall stems from “cGMP deviations,” which refers to failures in following Current Good Manufacturing Practices, the FDA’s strict standards that ensure a product is safe, properly made, and accurately labeled.

The FDA did not specify exact health risks, but any product made outside proper manufacturing guidelines can potentially be ineffective or unsafe. No adverse health events have been reported yet, but consumers are urged to stop using these products and return them for a refund.
If you use Power Stick products, now’s the time to check your label, UPC code, and lot number. When it comes to personal care, it’s better to be fresh and safe, not sorry. So check those cabinets and drawers, and make sure you do not have these recalled products.
