John Hoeven announced $20.9 million in federal funding for 21 airport infrastructure projects across North Dakota through the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program for fiscal year 2026.

Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, said the funding supports airport development and transportation infrastructure statewide.

“These grants are an important investment in the safety, efficiency and long-term viability of airports across North Dakota,” Hoeven said. “From runway and taxiway improvements to terminal expansions and snow removal equipment, these projects help ensure our airports can continue to serve our communities, support economic growth and meet the needs of travelers and businesses across our state.”
