Local Law Enforcement Arrested a Williston Man Who Shot and Killed a Dog Friday Afternoon

Williston, ND (KEYZ) Williston Police Department responded to the 2500 block of 6th avenue east for a report of an animal that had sustained a gunshot wound.

When officers arrived on scene, a male dog was found deceased from an apparent gun shot wound.

Through the investigation, the police department arrested 22-year-old Tyler Parpart, who was subsequently charged with animal abuse-resulting in death, and discharging a firearm in city limits.

The Williston Police Department Believes this to be an isolated and targeted incident.
