It's finally warming up in North Dakota, and signs of spring and summer are everywhere. Trees are green, flowers are blooming, patios are opening up, and soon enough, our local waterparks and splash pads will be opening for Bismarck-Mandan families.

For many, the waterparks and pools are a summer staple. It's a great place to make some family memories. We love watching the kids run around the splash zones, ride out the waves in the wave pools, and splash down the waterslides-it's all a blast.

We recently did a report on when Raging Rivers Waterpark would be opening this year

According to RagingRiversWaterpark.com, the first day of the waterpark season is on May 28th. Obviously, this is weather permitting.

It looks like some of our local splash pads will be opening a little sooner. Here is when each park will open, according to the Bismarck Parks and Rec website.
