Bausch + Lomb is recalling approximately 32,000 units of its Project Watson Eyelid Wipes for dogs. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall is due to concerns that these products may unintentionally foster the growth of bacteria and fungi within their containers.

Recall Details:

• Reason for Recall: Potential growth of bacteria and fungi in the containers.
• Reports Received: Seven reports of growths in the containers, with no reported illnesses in pets or humans.

Identifying the Recalled Products:

• Label: “Project Watson” and “Bausch + Lomb” on a blue and white label.
• Packaging: 45-count containers, small and round with twist-on lids.
• Lot Numbers: A09050 and A10055 (printed on the bottom of the container).
• Sales Locations: Sold at PetSmart, Walmart, and other stores across the U.S., including online at Chewy and Amazon.
• Sale Period: From February 2023 through March 2024.
