The Williston community is coming together to honor the memory of Sahiyela Wade Jr.—known to many simply as “Shy" with a heartfelt benefit and motorcycle ride on Saturday. At just 21 years old, Shy's life was unexpectedly cut short, leaving behind devastated family and friends who are now rallying to give him the farewell he deserves.

To raise funds for Shy's funeral, a benefit event will begin at Arnie’s Powersports in Williston, where Indian Tacos will be served before the ride begins. The delicious tacos, always a local favorite, are just one way supporters can show their love and respect for a young man who meant so much to so many.

Ride, Roll, or Rally: All Are Welcome to Join the Benefit Ride for Shy

The motorcycle ride is open to one and all, whether you're on two wheels, four wheels, or even riding along in a side-by-side. Kickstands go up at 12 PM, but not before all riders have gotten their fill of Indian Tacos. It’s $20 per rider and $10 per passenger, and all proceeds will go directly toward Shy’s funeral costs.
