  6. Training and Cleanup: Complete required training sessions and contribute to cleaning and sanitizing voting materials, equipment, and high-traffic areas before and after the election.
  7. Logistics: Assist in setting up and dismantling the polling place, ensuring everything is in order for Election Day.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for the position of Election Worker, certain qualifications must be met. These include:

  • Voter Eligibility: Applicants must either be qualified voters or meet the criteria to qualify as a student poll clerk.
  • Background Check: Passing a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening are mandatory.
