Exciting News For Williston Students With New Degree Partnerships

An expansion of the Degree Bridge Program at Williston State College is set to be announced during a press conference scheduled for Monday, April 20 at 2:30 p.m. in the Teton Lounge.

Minot State University and Valley City State University are being added as new partner institutions, a move that is expected to broaden access to four-year degree opportunities for students in western North Dakota. Increased options for completing bachelor’s degrees while remaining in Williston are anticipated as part of the expansion.

The Degree Bridge Program is designed to allow students to begin their education at Williston State College and transition into bachelor’s degree programs through partner universities while continuing to live, study and access campus resources locally.

The addition of the two universities is expected to strengthen higher education pathways in the region and support workforce development by making advanced degrees more accessible.

Representatives from all three institutions are expected to discuss the partnership, available programs and the regional impact during the event.
