Beulah Teen’s Death Ruled an Accidental Drowning
Beulah, ND (KEYZ) The cause of death for a Beulah teen who was found in the Knife River last month has been revealed.
In an update to a story News Radio brought to you last month, the State Forensic Medical Examiner’s Office stated that the death of 18-year-old Tyler Schaeffer has been ruled as an accidental drowning. The office also determined alcohol use was a significant factor at the time of his death.
Schaeffer was last seen on May 1st. His body was recovered from the Knife River on May 11th, ending an air, land, and water search for Schaeffer that spanned more than 10 days.
