According To North Dakota, This Team Will Win On Sunday
Here comes the weekend! The weather looks nice, and the big game comes up on Sunday. People will be out tonight and tomorrow talking about their favorite team, and who they think will win on Sunday. Will it be Philadelphia? Will it be Kansas City? Everyone has their opinion. But how does the state overall think the game will go?
Insider.com released a map that shows the direction in which each state in the nation is leaning. The information was gathered by betonline.ag. They identified the use of hashtags like #ChiefsKingdom, #FlyEaglesFly, and others to distinguish between Kansas City supporters and Philadelphia's devout by analyzing geotagged Twitter data from more than 217,000 tweets sent out across the nation.
Each team kept control of its home state and a sizable portion of the surrounding area, though Kansas City seems to have won over followers in two Northeastern states — New York and Vermont — where Eagles supporters of the NFC East foe New York Giants may be resolutely refusing to attend games. Philadelphia also enjoys a little advantage over its division opponents, the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Denver Broncos, in California, Nevada, and Colorado, respectively.
The vast majority of the Eastern US, however, as well as a sizable portion of the West from Idaho all the way down to Arizona and New Mexico, favor the Eagles. And while it seemed as though the Chiefs would easily win the Midwest and Southeast, Minnesota, Louisiana, and Florida have all abandoned the Mahomes bandwagon in favor of the Birds.
