Williston State College is once again giving community members the opportunity to win a student-built utility trailer while supporting hands-on skilled trades education through its annual Welding Program Trailer Raffle.

This year’s raffle features two custom-built trailers fabricated entirely by WSC welding students as part of their applied training. The trailers include a 10-foot-by-6-foot-4-inch utility tilt trailer with a 3,500-pound capacity and a 12-foot-by-6-foot-6-inch utility trailer rated for 5,200 pounds.

Tickets cost $25 each, with proceeds going directly back into the Welding Program to support instructional materials and class activities. Purchases are not considered charitable donations.

“This raffle is about more than giving someone a great trailer—it’s about giving our students meaningful, hands-on experience,” said Tim Delorme, welding program instructor at Williston State College. “When people buy a ticket, they’re investing in the next generation of skilled trades professionals and helping us continue offering the kind of real-world training that employers value.”
