The Williston Basin School District #7 has announced that re-enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is now open, and it comes with a few important updates this year. Unlike previous years, all returning students are required to re-submit key enrollment documents due to new district boundary adjustments and the transition to a new student information system.

Two Simple Ways to Re-Enroll

Families have two convenient options to complete the process:

  • Log into your PowerSchool account using a web browser (note: this cannot be done through the app).
  • Use the direct re-enrollment link sent via email from PowerSchool on April 1.

Both methods are designed to make the process as smooth as possible, but it’s important to complete it sooner rather than later to avoid any last-minute issues.

Document Re-Submission Required

This year, all students must submit five essential documents as part of the re-enrollment process:

  • Proof of birth
  • Parent or guardian photo ID
  • Primary proof of residence
  • Secondary proof of residence
  • Immunization record

Even if you’ve submitted these documents in the past, the district requires updated copies for all returning students.

Important Deadline to Remember

The deadline to complete re-enrollment is May 15, 2026. After this date, enrollment will be temporarily closed until August, which could create complications for families who miss the window.

Don’t Wait—Get It Done Early

With changes happening across the district, officials encourage families to act early and ensure all documents are submitted correctly. Taking a few minutes now can help avoid stress later in the summer and ensure your student is ready to start the new school year without any delays.

For families in Williston, this is an important step in preparing for a successful 2026–2027 school year.
