Well, that’s one way to kick off a Monday—by learning that one of Williston’s favorite BBQ joints is riding off into the sunset. If you’ve been hearing whispers about Pit 105 closing, consider this your confirmation. The beloved barbecue haven has announced that its last day of business will be March 22, 2025.

A Bittersweet Goodbye: Retirement and New Beginnings

Why? Well, the folks behind Pit 105 and the Busted Knuckle Brewery are looking to retire and move on, marking the end of this four-year run of smoked meats, cold brews, and live music. While we’re sad to see them go, they’re making sure their farewell tour is one for the books.

Your Last Chance for BBQ, Brews, and Good Times

So, what does that mean for you? It means you’ve got just over a month to get your fill of finger-lickin’ BBQ, enjoy a locally brewed beer (or two… or three—no judgment), and take in some live music at the Busted Knuckle. Oh, and if you’ve got one of those gift cards buried under your car’s floor mats, now’s the time to cash it in.

Four Years of Flavor and Memories

Four years may not seem like a long time, but in the world of restaurants and breweries, it’s an achievement worth celebrating. The Pit 105 crew has served up countless plates of smoky, saucy goodness, and the Busted Knuckle has kept many a Williston local refreshed with craft beer and good times. It’s been a wild ride, and we can only hope that whatever’s next for them is just as flavorful as the past four years have been for us.

So, before March 22 rolls around, grab your friends, loosen your belt, and head to Pit 105 for one last BBQ feast. It’s the kind of goodbye that calls for extra napkins and a full plate. Thanks for the memories, all the great food and fantastic brews, Pit 105 and Busted Knuckle—you’ll be missed!
