New Date, Same Mission: Williston North Dakota Cleanup Set for This Saturday

Williston residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and give back to the community during the annual Spring Clean Williston event, a citywide effort to keep the area looking its best after a long North Dakota winter.

Clean Williston was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 25, but Mother Nature had other plans. Thanks to cold, damp conditions, organizers have pushed things back, with the new date now set for this Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with volunteers meeting at the north lot of Williston Public Works, located at 1121 5th Street East.

Sign Up, Show Up, and Make a Difference Across Williston

Community members of all ages are encouraged to participate. Individuals, families, and organized groups can sign up in advance to take part in one of 40 designated cleanup zones throughout the city. If you're interested, you can register here ahead of time, and walk-ins are also welcome on the day of the event and will be assigned an area upon arrival.

Volunteer Perks and Flexible Ways to Get Involved

To show appreciation for their efforts, volunteers will receive a variety of perks, including a free event t-shirt (while supplies last), a light breakfast to start the morning, and ice cream provided by CHI St. Alexius Health and Suzy Q’s. Safety gear will also be available to ensure everyone can participate comfortably and responsibly.
