The City of Williston and the James Memorial Art Center are inviting local artists to display their work inside City Hall as part of a continuing effort to highlight regional talent and bring more art into public spaces.

The initiative follows renovations earlier this year to the John Kautzman Chamber Room, where the city partnered with the James Memorial Art Center to launch a rotating art display. The first exhibition opened in July, with new artwork scheduled to rotate quarterly.

Organizers are now seeking submissions for the next rotation, which will feature seasonal pieces reflecting autumn, the holidays, and winter in North Dakota and the surrounding region.

Artists may submit up to two works in any medium, provided they are ready to hang and do not exceed 3 feet by 4 feet when framed. Artwork can be for sale but must remain on display for the full exhibit period, which runs through January 2026. Submissions must include the title, dimensions, medium, and price, if applicable.

Selected pieces will be installed the week of Oct. 27, and participating artists will be recognized during an upcoming Williston City Commission meeting.
