Surveillance Footage Insights

Between 6 and 7 a.m. on January 6, 2024, the Sheriff's Office was able to obtain recent surveillance footage showing vehicle activity close to Roger Shelton's home. The footage reveals that two vehicles drove through the subdivision of Freedom Meadows and stopped briefly in front of Mr. Shelton’s house. It is suspected that one or more individuals may have exited the vehicle during this time. Unfortunately, the footage does not provide clear details about the vehicles or individuals involved.

Last Known Movements

Roger Shelton’s last known public location was the Black Gold Casino, situated on the Montana/North Dakota border, on the evening of January 5, 2024. It is believed that he traveled home to his residence, located near the intersection of Hwy 2 and 146th Ave NW, on the west side of Williston (Freedom Meadows), later that night.

Roger Shelton, born on March 2, 1962, is described as follows:

  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Tattoos: An outline of the Pink Panther on his left arm with the word “roach” written underneath
