Spring has a way of revealing just how much stuff we’ve let pile up over the winter months. From closets bursting with out-of-season clothes and worn-out shoes, to the dreaded single sock missing its mate, the urge to declutter becomes undeniable. But there’s one category of clutter that often gets overlooked—electronic waste.

Say Goodbye to the Clutter: Williston’s E-Waste Collection Event Makes Recycling Easy

Old phones, outdated TVs, tangled cords, and even that dusty VCR you haven’t touched since the early 2000s—all of it takes up space and serves no real purpose anymore. If it doesn’t work, or if it’s just too outdated to use, it’s time to say goodbye. But throwing electronics in the trash isn’t the answer. That’s where Williston's upcoming E-Waste Collection Event comes in.

Recycle for a Cause and Grab Some Lunch: BBQ and Donations Highlight E-Waste Event

Here's what makes this event even better. For every tower or laptop brought in for recycling, a donation will be made to Bras for a Cause, a charitable organization supporting local women in their fight against cancer.

And while you're dropping off your old gadgets, plan to stick around for Chamley Pipe & Salvage’s annual FREE Customer Appreciation BBQ, happening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s a great way to enjoy a delicious lunch, say hello to neighbors, and feel good about cleaning up both your home and your community.

So dig into those closets, garages, and back rooms—June 4 is the perfect time to e-rase the e-waste!
