Following the discovery of unhygienic conditions in the facility where these goods were manufactured, the FDA previously issued a warning about more than two dozen eye drops sold under names including CVS Health, Target, and Walmart. These medicines could potentially be at risk of infections that could result in blindness or partial vision loss.

Recently, the FDA advised customers to cease using these items immediately.

Anyone showing signs or symptoms of an eye infection after using these products—including pain or burning in the eyes, light sensitivity, or discharge coming from one or both eyes that is yellow, green, or clear—should talk to their healthcare provider or seek medical care immediately.
