Williston, North Dakota Kids and Families Gear Up for ARC Fitness Fair
As March seems to be flying by, many people are realizing that those New Year’s resolutions about getting healthier might need a little boost. Fortunately, we will have an opportunity to get inspired and find helpful resources soon. The Williston Parks and Recreation District (WPRD) is planning a popular community event focused on health and well-being.

Williston Area Recreation Center Hosts Free ARC Fitness Community Wellness Fair March 28
The annual ARC Fitness Community Wellness Fair will take place on Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Williston Area Recreation Center. The event is free and open to the public, making it an easy and accessible way for families throughout the region to learn more about living a healthier lifestyle.
The wellness fair is designed to connect the community with local and statewide organizations that provide services, programs, and tools focused on overall well-being. Visitors will find a wide variety of interactive booths hosted by participating organizations, all centered around the seven dimensions of wellness. These dimensions include physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, and occupational wellness—areas that together support a balanced, healthy life.
Displays and activities will be set up in the tennis court area of the recreation center. Organizers ask attendees to enter through Door 3, which is located near the playground area. Once inside, participants will receive an event passport that can be stamped at the different vendor booths. Completed passports can then be turned in for a chance to win prizes donated by local businesses, adding an extra element of fun to the event.

Another highlight of the event will be a free lunch for the first 200 attendees. The meal is being generously provided by local partners, including Jimmy John's, OK Distributing, and Coca-Cola.
