Williston School District 7 is calling on all of us residents to be a part of something big...shaping the future of students and local education by running for a seat on the school board. With the election coming up on June 10, now is the time to make the decision to step up and make a difference. The deadline to file for candidacy is April 7, giving everyone a few more weeks to get their applications filled out and turned in.

Who Can Run

To be eligible to run for the Williston School Board, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen and a resident of North Dakota.
  • Be at least 18 years old on election day (June 10).
  • Have resided in Williston School District #7 for at least 30 days before the election.
