Comprehensive Mental Health Support Tailored for Older Adults in Williston

Senior Life Solutions is an outpatient program designed for individuals, typically 65 and older, who may benefit from enhanced coping and communication skills to improve their overall well-being. Services include group and individual therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

The dedicated Senior Life Solutions team features a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed therapists, a registered nurse, and other healthcare professionals, all focused on supporting the emotional needs of older adults in the community.

“CHI St. Alexius Health Williston's Senior Life Solutions is dedicated to helping seniors improve their mental health through evidence-based treatment,” says Jessica Adkins, Interim Program Director. “Aging can bring many challenges, and we are here to help individuals overcome those difficulties and live life to the fullest.”

Signs the Program May Help

Older adults may benefit from Senior Life Solutions if they experience:

• Persistent anxiety or depression

• Difficulty sleeping or changes in appetite

• Feelings of sadness or grief lasting more than two weeks

• Loss of interest in favorite activities

• Feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness

• Emotional struggles after losing a spouse or loved one

• Low energy or difficulty coping after a traumatic event

Following an initial assessment, participants may attend up to three group sessions per week, along with individual therapy and ongoing medication management. Teletherapy services are also available for convenient care from home.

The public is invited to the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, September 4 at 10 a.m., at 1301 15th Ave. West (downstairs), with light refreshments provided.
