North Dakota Businesses To Celebrate Pride Of Dakota Day Capitol
Businesses will celebrate Pride of Dakota Day at the Capitol on Thursday, March 6. Gov. Kelly Armstrong has designated March 2025 as Pride of Dakota Month in North Dakota.
"More than 25 Pride of Dakota businesses will be selling and sampling unique products including gourmet foods, art, books, jewelry, clothing, home decor, and more," stated Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring. "This is a chance for state officials and Capitol guests to meet the folks who create Pride of Dakota items and browse for distinctive ones. Should you be unable to make it to the Capitol that day, I advise you to go local shopping in your areas.
The event takes place on the first level Memorial Hall and Legislative Hall of the Capitol between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Goehring also urged Capitol guests and staff to eat lunch in the Capitol Café, which showcases North Dakota goods and services from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Additionally included in the Capitol Café will be a brand-new permanent Pride of Dakota store space with Pride of Dakota goods for sale.
Admission is open and free. Parking is located on the Capitol building's east and south sides. To enter the Capitol, guests have to pass security at the south door.
