Between the Lines Brings a Fairy Tale Flip to the Old Armory Stage

First up: a twist on your typical fairy tale. Between the Lines hits the B. Michael Quale stage at the Old Armory Theatre on July 24 and 25 at 6 p.m., and again on July 26 at 2 p.m. This enchanting new musical tells the story of Delilah, a girl who feels like an outsider at her new school. But when she dives into her favorite book, she finds comfort—and maybe a little more—thanks to the dashing Prince Oliver. As fantasy and reality start to blur in unexpected ways, Delilah embarks on a magical journey to figure out how to be herself in a world that often expects otherwise. Sounds like a storybook ending, right? But with 32 talented actors in grades 6–12, under the direction of Paula Buschta and Music Director Caitlin Nicks, this one promises more than your average “happily ever after.”

Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. Brings Big Magic (and 94 Kids!) to the Bakken Stage

And if that wasn’t enough stage sparkle for you, buckle up for some serious Disney magic! Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. will take over the Bakken Auditorium on July 29 and 30, with performances at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. This high-energy, musical revue features 94 kids from PreK to 6th grade (YES, 94!) singing, dancing, and dreaming their way through songs from 24 Disney classics, including The Lion King, Encanto, Toy Story, and Tangled. Directed by Karli Keck and Allayna Stevens, and once again musically guided by the powerhouse that is Caitlin Nicks, the show follows a group of young dreamers at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. Their mission? Discover their own dreams so they can help others achieve theirs. The result? Pure magic.

Whether you love a good fairytale twist or can’t resist belting out “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” these two shows are a perfect way to support local youth, celebrate a legacy of performing arts, and soak up some summer fun in Williston. Oh, and tickets will be available at the door for both shows.

Forty years of Youth Education On Stage? That deserves a standing ovation—and maybe a tiara or two.
