
Flags At Half-staff Friday For Fargo Representative Liz Conmy
North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong has directed all U.S. and North Dakota flags to be flown at half-staff from dawn to dusk Friday, May 1, in honor of Liz Conmy.
Armstrong also encouraged residents to lower flags at their homes and businesses in remembrance.
Conmy, a Democrat from Fargo, died April 25 at age 67 in a plane crash in Minnesota. Her partner, Joe Cass who was piloting the private plane, also died in the crash.
Conmy had represented District 11 in the North Dakota House of Representatives since 2022.

A celebration of life is scheduled from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at RiverHaven Events Center in Moorhead.
The crash remains under investigation by the NTSB and the FAA.
