Grab Your Gloves—It’s Time for Fall Clean-Up Williston North Dakota!
Everyone in Williston is about to roll up their sleeves and shine! The annual Fall Clean Williston event is just around the corner, happening on Saturday, September 13 from 8 a.m. to noon at Williston Public Works, 1121 5th Street East. For 45 years, neighbors, friends, businesses, and school groups have come together to give the city a little TLC, and this year promises to be no different.
Williston’s Community Workout: Lifting Garbage Bags, Not Weights
Think of it as Williston’s version of a community workout, but instead of lifting weights, we’re lifting garbage bags. Volunteers will be scattered across zones throughout the city, making sidewalks sparkle, parks pristine, and boulevards beautiful. If you haven’t picked a zone yet, no worries! You can still sign up in advance or just show up the morning of the event, and Public Works will assign you a spot.

Free Shirts, Breakfast, and a Chance to Fill the Most Bags
And, we all know that a great community event is not complete without some swag. Volunteers will receive a Clean Williston t-shirt (limited sizes, so the early birds get the best fit!) and a light breakfast to fuel their morning cleanup efforts. Public Works will supply all the essentials: safety vests, gloves, and garbage bags. All you need to bring is your time, a smile, and maybe a little competitive spirit to see who can fill the most trash bags.

Everyone Is Encouraged To Participate
Whether you’re an individual, a business team, a school group, or part of a civic organization, your participation makes a big difference. Here's the best part of all this. Volunteers are the backbone of Clean Williston, because without you, there’s no sparkle, no shine, and no bragging rights about who found the weirdest item in a ditch.
So, get your friends together, sign up for a zone, or just come on down that morning. Together, we’ll make Williston gleam a little brighter—because nothing says “community pride” quite like a trash bag full of litter and a brand-new t-shirt to show off afterward!
