New Parade Watch Party Sites
This year, the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce is offering new ways to enjoy the parade with designated Watch Party Sites along the route. These sites provide festive viewing spots, along with amenities for parade-goers. There will be no parking available along the parade route.
The Watch Party Sites include:
- Hedderich’s Lot – The Chamber’s hub, featuring bleachers, patio heaters, and float voting information.
- First Lutheran Church – Warm up with hot cocoa, cider, coffee, and homemade cookies, with a free-will offering benefiting The God’s Child Project.
- Parking Lot South of BOSS – A prime viewing spot next to First Lutheran Church.
Warm Up After the Parade
After the parade, families can join Santa at the Warm Up After Light Up Celebration at the James Memorial Art Center. The event will feature live holiday music, delicious hot cocoa, warm apple cider, and a chance for children to meet Santa. Attendees are encouraged to bring a toy donation for entry into a drawing for a FREE James Memorial Art Center membership.
Float Applications
The Chamber is still accepting applications for parade floats. Those interested in participating can sign up online through the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce website. Non-member float registration costs $50, while members pay $25. The deadline for applications is Monday, Nov. 18, at 11:59 p.m.
