Coyote Boys basketball is back at home on Tuesday for the second half of a Battle of the Bakken double header against the Watford City Wolves.

The 8:00 PM tip-off at John Cole Gymnasium, looks to take a cue from last years matchup at the Phill Jackson Fieldhouse to create a raucous environment  as the Coyotes and the Wolves are both looking for their first WDA win, and the Coyotes looking for their first win overall on the season.

Watford City is coming into the game with a record of 1-7 (0-7 WDA), with their only win of the year coming in a non conference battle against the Sidney Eagles.  A win for the Wolves would bring them into a tie in the win column for 9th place in the WDA standing with Bismarck St. Mary's.

The Wolves are averaging 56 points per game, while being outscored by 31 points per contest by their opponents. Senior Guard Jahneim Samuel paces the way on offence with just under 15 points per game.

Williston, who is winless with at 0-10 (0-10 WDA) will look to have all their pieces finally firing on all cylinders to grab their first win of the season.  A win for the Coyotes would pull them into a tie in the win column with Watford City for 10th place in the WDA.

The Coyotes are averaging 58 points per game, and have a negative point differential of around negative 18 points throughout their first 10 games.  Leading the way in scoring for Williston Is Isaiah St. Romain with 17 points per game, with Malakai Sik (15.9) and Jayden Smith (15.0) also contributing with double digit scoring.
