New Town, ND (KEYZ) Lovely but lethal, western North Dakota's Highway 1804 claims the life of a Colorado man Tuesday, August 30.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports the 44-year-old man from Fort Collins, Colorado died Tuesday just before 6:00 p.m. as a result of a single vehicle rollover crash on Highway 1804, eight miles north of New Town.

The man was traveling southbound on the roadway in a 2012 Infiniti when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway rolled, vaulted, and came to rest in the southwest ditch on its wheels. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
