There’s a lot happening in Williston’s education scene. From a brand-new school and a new superintendent to rising interest in Career and Technical Education (CTE), class size concerns, and multiple open positions on the Williston School Board—education is top of mind for many residents.
Seven School Board Candidates to Speak at May 19 Public Forum in Williston
To help voters get informed, the Williston Education Association (WEA) has announced a public candidate forum on Monday, May 19, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bakken Auditorium. Seven candidates vying for seats on the Williston School District #7 board have committed to attend. They include:

This event offers a valuable opportunity for community members to hear directly from each candidate about their vision for the future of Williston schools. With so much change underway—especially with ongoing discussions around class sizes, CTE expansion, and leadership direction—this forum allows voters to ask questions, hear new ideas, and learn how each candidate plans to meet the needs of students and staff alike.
