Williston, ND (KEYZ) A Williston dining staple for eight years, Outlaws' Bar and Grill closed its doors for good Monday, August 15, 2022.

The restaurant's proprietors made the announcement Sunday via Facebook, thanking the Williston community for "an amazing eight years" and citing a shallow quality labor pool as the primary reason for the need to close the eatery's doors.

The announcement reads, in part:

We have made the difficult decision to close Outlaws Bar & Grill in Williston effective August 15, 2022.
Western North Dakota, along with the restaurant industry as a whole, have been hit particularly hard during these unprecedented times over the past few years. Staffing issues have continued to plague the hospitality industry. Due to difficulty in finding quality labor, we have decided to close our doors.
Thank you for an amazing eight years, Williston! We’ll never forget the memories made here.
A North Dakota family-owned and operated establishment serving the western ND community since 2006, Outlaws' Bar and Grill owners say they will now focus on their existing portfolio of restaurants which include: JL Beers (Watford City), Stonehome Brewing Company (Watford City and Bismarck), Outlaws Bar & Grill (Watford City), Slow Ride (Watford City), and WildCow Coffee & Cream (Watford City).
