You Won’t Believe What Word North Dakota Misspells The Most

Spelling is not everyone's cup of tea. Writing is not for everyone either. When Townsquare Media took over, they now require us to write content daily. I am a decent speller, but not the best writer.

Grammarly, Google, and smarter people in the office have made things way easier for me. You might catch a misspelled word here and there, but It should at least be a complicated one if you spot one.

There are statistics available that drills everything down in your online searches, including misspelled words. Google put out its list for 2022 a few months ago. Let's look at our region and see where work needs to be done.

Montana

I was born in Montana. It's a beautiful region rich in history. According to Google, Montanans misspell beautiful the most.

South Dakota

The same can be said for South Dakotans. The word they struggle with the most is beautifully.

Minnesota

This one surprised me considering how far away Minnesota is from Hollywood. Our friends to the east have difficulty spelling paparazzi.

North Dakota

This one blows my mind. According to Google, the word that North Dakotans have a hard time spelling is sorry.

The spelling fun doesn't stop there though.

Wisconsin

The home of the Green Bay Packers struggles with the word lose.

California

California misspells the word tomato.

Arizona

Arizona often misspells the word seizure

Texas

Texas butchers the word normal.
