Williston’s Hospital Auxiliary Raising Money For New ICU Mattresses

As the temperature drops, more of our time will soon be spent indoors. At their 17th annual bedding fair fundraiser, CHI St. Alexius Health and the Williston Medical Center Auxiliary want to assist in finding a little bit of comfort for you to enjoy for the upcoming fall and winter seasons.

Since it began, the annual bedding fair has raised more than $45,000, according to Marilyn McGinley, the Auxiliary's publicity chairman. This was likely our most well-attended fundraising event to date. Marilyn has been with the Auxiliary since 1971, and is proud of all the improvements and equipment the Auxiliary has had a hand in purchasing.

The Auxiliary is looking to make improvements in the intensive care unit at the hospital with funds raised from this event. The Auxiliary will purchase three new mattresses for the ICU.

The Discount Bedding Fair has many things to choose from to keep you warm and cozy through the chilly months ahead. The offering include super soft sheet sets, luxury pillows, baby blankets, sherpa throws, filled sherpa blankets, quilt sets, mattress pads and the popular sports blankets. Some other bedding accessories will be available as well. Here is your best opportunity to get some nice bedding for your place, and maybe pick up a few early Christmas presents too.

The event will take place in the Cafeteria at CHI St, Alexius Williston on Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday Sept. 21-22 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Credit and debit card and cash will be accepted.
